Why Learn Yoga?

Among the many benefits of practicing yoga, here are some that I think are the most important: improve flexibility, build muscles, perfect your posture, protect your spine and cartilage, and even prevent arthritis! Yoga also strengthens your bones and heart, while boosting immunity. It increases blood flow, drops blood pressure and blood sugar levels, keeps you medication free, relaxes your system, helps you sleep and breathe better, and makes you happier! It gives you inner strength by increasing your self esteem and building awareness.

New To Yoga?

Don’t worry, there’s always a first time. Begin by drinking plenty of water a few hours before class so you are hydrated and happy 🙂 Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move. You can wear sweat pants or yoga pants, T-shirt or tank top. Don’t worry about footwear, you will be barefoot. Also bring a yoga mat and a water bottle. If you don’t have a yoga mat, you can borrow one from us.

Just Show Up

You don’t have to be flexible or strong to do yoga. Don’t worry if you can’t touch your toes.

We are here to meet your needs and practice together. We offer a non-judgmental environment so you can feel comfortable in your own skin. You are awesome the way you are.

We encourage you to move safely and gently using your breath to keep your body healthy, never push until the point of feeling pain. You can take as many breaks as you need to and move at your own pace. We want you to be comfortable. Be prepared to sweat and challenge yourself mentally and physically, and HAVE FUN while doing it.
